Kampala, Uganda: The Uganda National Examinations Board has released the 2025 Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results, allowing candidates, parents and schools to access them instantly using SMS or the UNEB online portal.
The results, released on March 13, 2026, show an overall improvement in performance and an increase in the number of candidates qualifying for university admission.
Below is a simple guide on how to check the results using a mobile phone or the internet.
How to check UACE results by SMS
Just like PLE UCE Results, you can check his/her UACE Results performance on phone via SMS by typing UACE <space> Full Index Number, e.g. U0028/528, and send to 6600 on all mobile telecom networks at a cost of just shs 500 per SMS.

Headteachers and school administrators can also access the results of their candidates through the UNEB portal using their usual details.
To do this, go to your web browser, Type ereg.uneb.ac.ug/results. In the form, enter the candidate’s Index Number and click SEARCH. A page with the Candidate’s results will load. Please note that the online service is free, and all you need is the internet to access it.
According to UNEB, the 2025 examination registered improved overall performance, with a larger number of candidates meeting the minimum university admission requirement of two principal passes.
The examinations were conducted between November and December 2025 across thousands of examination centres nationwide.
