Kampala, Uganda: The Senior Presidential Advisor/Personal Assistant to the National Chairman (SPA/PA), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, has fulfilled her pledge to support a struggling student of the Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU), Kibuli Branch, reinforcing her continued commitment to education and youth empowerment.
The pledge followed an emotional encounter weeks ago when Hajjat Namyalo visited the university during Ramadan to deliver food items to fasting students.
During the outreach, she was moved by the plight of Lumu Abdul Karim, a second-year student who was grappling with tuition challenges that threatened to disrupt his studies.
Touched by his situation, Namyalo pledged to clear the outstanding balance of his tuition.

And on Tuesday, she honored that commitment by handing over the funds at the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), ensuring that Lumu can continue with his academic journey without interruption.
The gesture underscored Namyalo’s growing footprint in supporting vulnerable communities, particularly students facing financial hardship, as part of her broader wealth creation and empowerment drive.
Speaking after getting the tuition support, an emotional Lumu expressed heartfelt gratitude to Namyalo for what he described as a life-changing intervention, promising to work hard and make her proud.
He passionately asked Namyalo to pray for him—an appeal she warmly granted, describing him as “her son.”

Hajjat’s intervention comes amid her ongoing Ramadan outreach programs, which have seen her extend support to various institutions, including security agencies, schools, and vulnerable groups across the country.
