Kampala, Uganda: The 52nd Stanbic Uganda Cup has reached the quarter-final stage, with eight teams set to battle for semi-final spots in fixtures lined up across the Easter weekend.
The knockout ties will be played from Friday, April 3 to Monday, April 6, 2026, with all matches scheduled to kick off at 3:00 PM.
The action begins on Friday as NEC FC host defending champions Vipers SC at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo, in what promises to be a thrilling opener.
On Saturday, URA FC will face KCCA FC at Hamz Stadium in Kampala in a highly anticipated clash between two Uganda Premier League heavyweights.

Sunday’s fixture will see Kitara FC host Express FC at Royal Park in Butema, Hoima, while the quarter-final stage will conclude on Monday with surprise package Happy Boyz Kagaba taking on record champions SC Villa at Kagaba Primary School Playground in Kassanda.

Any match tied after normal time will proceed to extra time, comprising two 15-minute halves with penalty shootouts possible to decide the winner.
The Stanbic Uganda Cup remains one of Uganda’s most prestigious football competitions, dating back to 1971. The winner will secure a slot to represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup.
With defending champions Vipers SC still in the race and traditional giants like SC Villa, KCCA FC, and Express FC in contention, the Easter fixtures are expected to deliver high-intensity football and dramatic moments.
