Kampala, Uganda: The Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League title race has entered a dramatic final stretch, with leaders She Corporate FC and challengers Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC separated by just two points with only two matches left to play.

She Corporate sit top with 50 points, holding a narrow advantage over Kawempe Muslim on 48, setting up a high-stakes finish where any slip could prove decisive.

She Corporate tightened their grip with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over St Noa Girls FC at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

After a cagey first half, Rebecca Nakato broke the deadlock early in the second half before Jesca Namanda doubled the lead in the 65th minute.

St Noa responded late through Marion Serenge to set up a tense finish, but She Corporate held firm, thanks largely to standout goalkeeper Molly Naava Nabitaka, who produced crucial saves, including a decisive late one-on-one, to secure all three points. Her performance earned her Player of the Match honours.

Kawempe Muslim, refusing to drop off the pace, also secured a vital 2-1 win over Rines SS WFC. The match was level at halftime, but Kawempe showed resilience in the second half, with Agnes Nabukenya netting the winner to keep their title charge alive.

Elsewhere, Kampala Queens FC edged Lady Doves FC 2-1, while She Maroons FC played out a 1-1 draw with Uganda Martyrs FC. Makerere University WFC also registered a 2-1 victory over Asubo Ladies FC.

The biggest statement of the round came from Amus College WFC, who thrashed Olila High School WFC 4-0, with Shayline Opisa grabbing a hat-trick in a dominant display.

With just two fixtures remaining, the title race remains finely balanced.

She Corporate hold the advantage, but Kawempe Muslim are within striking distance, turning the closing days of the season into a nerve-wracking battle where consistency, composure, and fine margins will determine the champion.
