Kampala, Uganda: The 2025/26 FUFA Women Super League title race will be decided on the final day this Sunday after league leaders She Corporate FC and rivals Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC remained separated by just one point heading into Matchday 22.

After months of intense competition, She Corporate FC sit top of the standings with 50 points, while Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC follow closely on 49 points.

Attention will centre on two decisive fixtures, with She Corporate hosting She Maroons FC at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru while Kawempe Muslim Ladies entertain Olila High School WFC at Kawempe Muslim SS Ground.

She Corporate Hold Advantage

For She Corporate FC, victory will automatically secure the league title regardless of results elsewhere. Even a draw could prove enough if Kawempe Muslim Ladies fail to defeat Olila High School WFC.

Head coach Belyse Ininahazwe says her side is fully focused on completing the job. “We have worked hard throughout the season to reach this moment. The players understand what is at stake and we are focused on finishing the job,” Ininahazwe said.

Kawempe Still Dreaming

At Kawempe Muslim Ladies, the equation is simple; they must win and hope She Corporate drop points in Njeru.

Coach Ayub Khalifa remains optimistic that his team can still snatch the title on the final day. “We know the situation clearly. We must win our game and keep believing until the final whistle. The team is ready for the challenge and we shall fight until the end,” Khalifa noted.

Both title contenders stumbled during the penultimate round of fixtures.

She Corporate FC suffered a 1-0 defeat away to Uganda Martyrs High School WFC, while Kawempe Muslim Ladies were held to a 1-1 draw by Kampala Queens FC.

Despite the setbacks, both clubs have enjoyed impressive campaigns built on consistency, strong defending and resilience in key matches.

Earlier this season, She Corporate and She Maroons played out a goalless draw at Luzira Prisons Ground, while Kawempe Muslim Ladies defeated Olila High School WFC 3-1 in Soroti.

Golden Boot Race Also Intensifies

Away from the title battle, the race for the Golden Boot award is also expected to go down to the wire.
Jesca Namanda of She Corporate currently leads the scoring charts with 15 goals, while Latifah Nakasi of Kawempe Muslim Ladies trails closely with 14 goals.

Other Final Day Fixtures

Elsewhere on the final day, Makerere University WFC will take on Kampala Queens FC, Lady Doves FC vs St Noa Girls FC, Asubo Ladies FC vs Rines SS WFC, while Amus College WFC complete the season’s fixture with a home tie against Uganda Martyrs High School WFC.

Although already relegated, both Asubo Ladies FC and Olila High School WFC will hope to end their top-flight campaigns positively before returning to the FUFA Women Elite League next season.
