Sad news from the NRM camp indicate that Ms. Jennifer Rwaburibate Muheesi, the party’s candidate for Kazo District Woman MP seat has been involved in a car accident.
Ms Muheesi’s car, a Toyota Wish Number UBH 607 T reportedly collided with a pickup truck which was transporting supporters of her rival Mrs Ronah Ruranga, the Police reports.
The OC Traffic of Kazo Charlese Drabo says the accident occurred last night at Muhumuro cell in Buremba along Rwengwe-Mirambi road.
Drabo confirmed that Jenifer Muheesi was in the car at the time of the accident.
He said however, that no serious injuries were registered.
Both vehicles have since been towed to Kazo police station for inspection as the hunt for independent candidate Ronah Ruranga’s pickup truck continues.
