FDC dismisses claims that POA has stepped down to back Tumukunde for presidency

BREAKING: The Forum for Democratic Change has dismissed a fake letter making rounding on Social Media that their presidential aspirant Patrick Oboi Amuriat has stepped down from the presidential race and endorsed Gen. Henry Tumukunde for presidency.

In a statement released by the FDC through the official page, the letter from yet to be known sources which indicated that POA has decided to quit the race for presidency in favor of Gen. Henry Tumukunde is false, FAKE and should be treated with the contempt it deserves.

“A fake letter dated 11 Jan 2021 and allegedly written by Nathan Nandala – Mafabi, which we will not quote here, is circulating on social media.” FDC posted on the party’s official Facebook page.

“Please don’t circulate it further. Also, treat it with the contempt it deserves.” added the party.

Below is the letter which had attracted public attention and thrown the country in shock.
