#UGDECIDES2021: Obongi County Member of Parliament and FDC parliamentary candidate for the same constituency Hon. Kaps Hassan Fungaroo has been arrested and beaten to pulp by the yet to be established group of people.
Fungaroo who also doubles as FDC Deputy National Mobilization Secretary was attacked in Aliba sub county in Obongi District
In a short interview with our reporter, the Honorable narrated to our reporter that he was beaten by people donned in NRM T-Shirts and Police officers.
Kaps Fungaroo was later on taken to Obongi Central Police station where locals piled pressure demanding for his immediate release.
“Whether dead or alive, we’re ready to die in defense of our Parliamentarian” angry residents demanding Fungaroo’s release.
Hon Fungaroo was later released and taken by his supporters to the nearby clinic for medical management.
The FDC has come out in condemnation of such acts intended to kill, maim and or disable their candidate.
