Museveni to address Ugandans today at 7pm ahead of elections

KAMPALA, UGANDA: President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will today (Tuesday) at 7pm address the country ahead of the Thursday General Elections.

The President’s Addres which will be aired on all Radios and TV Stations, will focus on key issues as the nation heads into a much anticipated presidential and parliamentary elections, Don Wanyama, the Senior Presidential Press Secretary confirmed.

Meanwhile, President Museveni also NRM Flagbearer will make his final campaign in Kampala central where he will speak to the city dwellers seeking for re-election for a sixth successive term.

The Presidential election has attracted 11 candidates with a tight race seemingly between the incumbent Mr. Museveni (NRM), National Unity Platform’s Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu and FDC’s Patrick Amuriat Oboi POA.

Others in the race are John Katumba the youngest ever Presidential candidate, Nancy Kalembe, Henry Tumukunde, Mugisha Muntu, Joseph Kabuleta, Willy Mayambala, Fred Mweisige.
