NBS TV’s Anatalia Ozzie loses in Rubaga elections, concedes defeat

KAMPALA LORD COUNCILOR POLLS: NBS TV’s Anatalia Ozzie real names Annet Nambooze and Bukedde TV’s VJ Junior real names Marysmarts have conceded defeat in the recently concluded general elections after bowing out as losers.

The NBS UnCut TV show host who recently went on a two months leave to move around and campaign for the Woman Lord Councillor LC 5 Lubaga North B on an independent ticket lost to National Unity Platform’s Nakiridde Solome Ssebina just like the undisputed king of translating movies into Luganda.

Through their socials, Annatalia and VJ Junior have conceded defeat by penning fair play messages thereby congratulating their opponents who turned victorious and the electorate for the endless support that they received despite not beating their targets.

Annatalia Oze took to Facebook and posted:

“I would like to take this opportunity to appreciate the people of Rubaga North B constituency for the support you accorded me during the election for the post of Lord Councilor Kampala Capital City Authority.

I accept that the results as declared are afair reflection of the outcome of the contest. I call upon the people to stand as one.

I also thank all the contestants in the race for putting up a spirited contest. I congratulate Nakiridde Solome Ssebina for a well deserved win.

I shall continue as always to serve this nation to the best of my capacity.”

VJ Junior also posted on his social stating:

“I am immensely grateful to the family, friends, and my loyal supporters from Mutungo Parish in Nakawa Division and all other areas at large who so generously contributed their time and effort to our campaign during this very long election season though we did not make it.

Being an effective leader involves listening to constituents, translating their concerns into workable proposals, and building consensus to implement them which I’m sure I can still do for you my people even without any political title.

You have taken the time to share with me your ideas, your concerns, and your aspirations, and I sincerely appreciate your willingness to discuss what really matters to you.

Lastly I would also like to take this opportunity to send a sympathetic and benevolent message to you my brother Robert Kyagulanyi and your wife Barbie who are still up to now illegally incarcerated at your home in Magere. Bobi you are an ambassador of hope, change and revolution that’s for sure and you have proved it to us during this election period hence inspiring so many other Ugandans to engross and take part in this whole revolutionary process therefore I join all other Ugandans to stand with you in prayers and demand for your immediate release.
