Uganda vs Tunisia: Two Changes in the Hippos XI for the AFCON U20 Semi Finals

AFCON U20 SEMI FINALS: The Uganda Cranes U20 ‘Hippos’ head coach Morley Byekwaso has named his starting XI to face Tunisia in todays semi final encounter of AFCON U20 Championship.

Two names are revealed as Striker Sam Ssenyonjo and Ivan Asaba make way for Derrick Kakooza and Najib Yiga as 9 players from the squad that knocked out Burkina Faso in quarterfinal retain their places.

Goalkeeper Jack Komakech who saved a penalty in shootouts against Burkina Faso makes his fifth start alongside a back-line of Gavin Kizito, Aziz Kayondo, Musa Ramathan and Kenneth Ssemakula.

Uganda will seek to punch above weight against Tunisia who eliminated Morocco in the other quarterfinal.

Uganda Hippos Starting XI – Jack Komakech, Aziz Kayondo, Musa Ramathan, Gavin Kizito Mugweri, Kenneth Ssemakula, Steven Sserwadda, Isma Mugulusi, Najib Yiga, Richard Basangwa, Bobosi Byaruhanga, Derrick Kakooza

Kickoff is 10:30pm (EAT).

In the earlier semi final encounter, Ghana saw off Gambia 1-0 to book their place in the tournament final.
