Linda Nabusayi Replaces Wanyama as Presidential Press Secretary

STATE HOUSE, ENTEBBE: President Yoweri Museveni has appointed Mrs. Linda Nabusayi Wamboka his new Senior Presidential Press Secretary to replace Don Wanyama who recently got appointed the new CEO of Vision Group.

Nabusayi who has served as deputy to Wanyama as the press secretary to the President excitedly confirmed the appointment stating that she was confirmed for the position yesterday, Thursday, April 23.

“It is true that I have been promoted. I thank the president for the confidence he has in me,” she said on phone when contacted by DailyExpress.

Nabusayi was in 2015 appointed as the Presidential Press Secretary to replace Tamale Mirundi. Until that point, she had served as deputy press secretary.

This website has further understood that Nabusayi will officially take over the office on May 1st after Wanyama begins his role at Vision Group.

The latest development and appointment by Museveni will leave many who had hoped to fill Wanyama’s position disappointed.
