NAKAPIRIPIRIT: A total of 12 police officers are reported to have been critically injured after a truck that ferried them for deployment overturned along Moroto –Nakapiripirit, in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.
According to the Regional Traffic officer who has spoken to DailyExpress on condition of anonymity, the police truck registration number UP4837, overturned while transporting police officers for special duty in Namalu, Nakapiripirit.
“12 personnel sustained serious injuries and were rushed to Matany hospital for treatment,’ said the officer.
Among the victims, police have only identified the truck driver as Joshua Okello.
