Pirates’ team captain Ivan Magomu attributed the defeat to the lack of experience but vowed to revenge in the National 7s circuit.

“We tried our best but Kobs had an edge over us in experience. In the sportsman spirit, we congratulate them and we wait for what is next,” Magomu said after the game.
Earlier on, Heathens had defeated Rhinos 45-10 winning with a bonus point and waited for the results between Kobs and Pirates.

Jinja Hippos beat Plascon Mongers 25-11 and Impis were 6-0 winners over Mulago Rams.
