Incumbent FUFA President, Eng Moses Magogo has been declared the only candidate who has successfully returned his nomination forms to run for presidency of the association.
This was announced on Monday afternoon by the FUFA Electoral Committee chairman Mathius Bwire who notified the press that Magogo is running unopposed ahead of the polls in September this year.
“By the powers entrusted to me, I announce that Magogo Moses is the only candidate to fulfill and return the nomination forms to run for FUFA presidency. We will forward the list to the FUFA general assembly for elections,” Bwire said.
Magogo became the favorite to retain his seat as FUFA President after two people including Proline Football Club‘s Mujib Kasule and Makindye West MP, also Club director of Katwe United Hon. Allan Ssewanyana both failed to meet the minimum qualifications required to run for the highly coveted seat.
