GRIEF: Another Kyambogo University lecturer succumbs to Covid

KAMPALA: Kyambogo University has yet again lost another staff, Mr. Ssenyonga John Bosco, a lecturer of Art in the Department of Education and Humanities. The deceased succumbed to Covid-19 according to University reports.

Ssenyonga died on Thursday 24th June after being on oxygen for the past two weeks battling the deadly covid-19 disease

By press time, the burial program for the deceased had not yet been released but it has been confirmed his burial will be overseen by the district Covid-19 task force with help from health experts.

Kyambogo University joins other universities like Makerere, MUBS, and UCU whose lecturers succumbed to this dangerous virus in recent past weeks.

According to the latest statistics from the Ministry of Health, the cumulative confirmed cases are now 75,537 with 781 deaths.
