Morley Byekwaso names Uganda Cranes XI to face Saudi Arabia

The Uganda Cranes U23 head coach Morley Byekwaso has named the team that will face Saudi Arabia in the international build up this evening at the Prince Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Stadium.

Kick off is 7:15 PM with live commentary on 102.1 FUFA f.m and all official FUFA social media platforms.

Charles Lukwago starts in goal with skipper Enock Walusimbi at right-back as Abdul Aziz Kayondo takes the left-back slot.

Musa Ramathan and Peter Magambo form the central defensive partnership. It is a compact midfield that has holder Bobosi Byaruhanga with several creative options ahead of him as Steven Sserwadda, Isma Mugulusi and Saidi Kyeyune.

Richard Basangwa and Steven Mukwala start as center forwards.

The rest of the players are subsitute players.

Uganda U23 travelling contingent of 25 players and 10 officials landed in Saudi Arabia yesterday morning ahead of the two friendly matches.

The second friendly match game against Saudi Arabia will be played on 5th July 2021 in preparation for forthcoming CECAFA challenge cup which starts July 17 in Ethiopia and the 2022 Word Cup Qualifiers due in September 2021.
