Trevor Taremwa, a student with visual impairment at St Helen’s primary school in Mbarara city scored aggregate 10 in the recently released PLE Results emerging the best candidate among students in the category of People With Disabilities (PWDs) countrywide.
In an exclusive interview with NTV Uganda, Trevor and the teachers at St. Helen’s School celebrated his performance describing it as a landmark amidst the Covid-19, since this is by far the best performance in years among students with disabilities.
