Dj Bush Baby undergoes successful surgery

Veteran Radio and TV Personality Michael Benjamin Owor popularly known as DJ Bush Baby has taken a step closer to his recovery from an accident that damaged his urethral structures after undergoing surgery last week on July 14.

The former NxT Radio and Urban TV media personality was involved in an accident back in April which injured some of his internal organs and required surgery according to his doctors.

Speaking to the DailyExpress in a phone conversation, DJ Bush Baby expressed gratitude to the doctors and friends for the ultimate support rendered towards him and stated that the surgery at URO Care Hospital in Kampala was a successful one and that he is recovering.

“I am feeling better. I still have two catheters inserted in my belly and pubic area. The tubes will be removed after three weeks of review,” said Bush Baby on phone.

He confirmed to this website after the successful operation, he was discharged from the hospital on Friday, July 16, 2021, and is now undergoing medical care from his home.

Bush Baby said that he has a series of physiotherapy sessions lined up in the coming days.

Bush Baby on April 13 while doing domestic work at home had a freak accident when he stepped on a manhole whose cover seemed weak and it gave way.

“I ended up with a fractured pelvic bone and injured some vital organs like the Urethra and bladder. During first aid only the fracture seemed detectable so 12 weeks of bed rest were recommended,” Bush Baby narrated.

“Over time things escalated and subsequent scans indicated I had severely damaged some vital organs.?
