Former Kayunga District woman Member of Parliament (MP), Mrs. Victoria Kakooko Ssebagereka, has passed on, the DailyExpress has learnt.
The former legislator also represented Mukono district in Parliament in the early 90s before Kayunga became a district of its own.
Her death was confirmed by Hon. Patrick Nsanja the Ntenjeru South on Thursday night.
“It’s with deep sorrow that we receive the news of the untimely death of our Veteran leader and strong pillar, Mrs. Victoria Kakooko Ssebagereka,” Nsanja said.
” I wish to extend our sincere condolences to the deceased’s family, the people of Kayunga, Mukono and Uganda at large” he added.
The deceased’s body Will be laid to rest at 2pm today (on Friday 6th August 2021) at Natteta Village Nazigo TC ,Kayunga District.
