KAMPALA, UGANDA: Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has named his starting line-up to face Mali in the Group E of the 2022 FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers.

The Cranes embark on a tough journey against the Mali Les Aigles today at 4 pm in a match that will be broadcast live on 102.1 FUFA f.m & All Official FUFA Social Media platforms

In a lineup XI announced by FUFA on Twitter, there are three changes from the team that started in the goalless stalemate with Kenya on Thursday.

In goal, Ismail Watenga starts in goal ahead of Charles Lukwago and Joel Mutakubwa.

While Denis Iguma, Isaac Muleme, Enock Walusimbi, Murushid Juuko, start in defence. Khalid Aucho, Bobosi Byaruhanga, Milton Karisa, Emmanuel Arnold Okwi (Captain), Derrick Nsibambi, and Joseph Benson Ochaya start in midfield and forward positions, in a 4-3-3 formation.

Uganda comes in the second match of Group D lying 3rd on level with Rwanda sitting bottom of the group with 1 point each, 2 points behind Mali (3 points) and Kenya (2 points).
