Walugogo is a black spot for years and many people have since lost their lives in the same area.

Some boda boda cyclists have been crashed while trying to access a route to Luuka district at Walugogo area and others along the way given the narrowness of the highway at this point. Over ten people perished in an accident at this area when a commuter tax rammed into a trailer in September 2012.
