KISORO, UGANDA: The Grade II Magistrates court in Kisoro has sentenced a couple that was filmed in the viral roadside sex video to serve 30 months in jail after pleading guilty of the indecency act.
The two identified as Hafasimana Paskali, 24, and Muhawenimana Colodine Mukamulenzi were last week filmed in the sexual act in public along Kisoro Bunagana Highway in Kisoro, an act which prosecution defined as gross indecency in public.
Prosecution led by the Kisoro Resident State Attorney Peter Muhendo told Grade II Magistrate Fred Gidudu that on 2nd November 2021, Colodina Muhawe and Hafasimana were filmed having roadside sex at around 4 pm near Kisoro Central Pharmacy, which is contrary to Section 148 of the Penal Code Act
The accused pleaded guilty to the charges and asked court for forgiveness but were instead convicted and sentenced to 30 months imprisonment.
