Shocking details emerge on Ugandan girl who fell off Dubai building, cause of death revealed

A story first published by DailyExpress on Sunday showed a video in which Karungi, who was working abroad in Dubai fell to her death from Al-Fahad building, and died instantly after smashing down her body on the ground.

Shocking details have emerged over a Ugandan girl who committed suicide in Dubai by falling off a building from the 9th floor and died on spot. The deceased identified as Karungi Monic, 23, is said to be the daughter of the late Mzee Philip Rubakare of Kyempara, Kyeirumba, Kabingo Sub County in Isingiro district.

A story first published by DailyExpress on Sunday showed a video in which Karungi, who was working abroad in Dubai fell to her death from Al-Fahad building, and died instantly after smashing down her body on the ground.

The gruesome video that has since gone viral on social media has caused public outcry and uproar from activists on the continued exploitation of Ugandans working abroad.

However, details from close pals to the deceased have revealed that Karungi committed suicide after finding out that her boyfriend who was based in Uganda had wedded another woman, despite sending him all the money she has worked for.

DailyExpress could not independently verify the claims from authentic and family sources, and therefore does not take this as a conclusive statement and cause of her death.
