City Businessman Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia has continued to give more meaning to Kampala’s beautiful sceneries through his real estate developments and exceptional business ideas.
The latest development coming from Sudhir’s Ruparelia Group is the expansion works on the Kabira Country Club, with the addition of a modern shopping mall and fully furnished luxurious apartments.
The multimillion hotel expansion project is now in the final stages of its completion, and is expected to launch soon.
The Kabira Country Club hotel is located on Old Kira Road in Bukoto, and the expansion facilities will include; squash courts, huge indoor and outdoor restaurants, a youth and business centre, conference facilities, poolside apartments, a six-lane bowling alley and underground parking facilities.
The 269 apartment complex alone will take up 62,000 square metres of built up space, including its two levels of underground parking.
The one, two and three bedroom serviced apartments will be fully furnished and built to British standards.
“They will have a fully fitted modern kitchen, double glazed sound proofed windows, LED flat screen TVs with customized sets of channels, complimentary high speed Wi-fi internet, air conditioning, ample parking space and 24 hour security,” Sudhir says.
Sudhir is said to have invested many billions in the expansion of the Kabira Country Club, aiming to transform the hotel into a world-class facility.
Kabira Country Club is one of Uganda’s leading boutique hotels located in the heart of Kampala, with access to all main centres in the city. The country club was named after the word ‘kabira’, which means ‘little forest’ in the local bantu language, reflective of it being an oasis getaway set in the heart of Kampala.
Kabira is also known to have East Africa’s most prestigious and well-equipped health, fitness and leisure club.
The hotel is also a renowned a conference venue that offers exceptional up-to-standard conference facilities, hosting many corporate and social events in Kampala.
