The source further revealed that the project will have 200 rooms including suites and penthouses, plus 226 very high-end apartments with a built-up area of 110,000 square meters. It will also have 35 conference rooms.
Adjacent to the Kingdom Kampala Mall that was opened in 2019, Kingdom Kampala Hotel is set to be an architectural marvel that will borrow the sister mall’s burnt clay brick finish for its exterior.
Yes, Ugandans should be happy for such developments that contribute hugely to the country’s economy but also employs thousands of Ugandan youths. Statistics show that the hospitality industry contributes about 450,000 jobs to the job market in the country.
Meera Investments Limited, the real estate arm of the Ruparelia Group tasked with the construction of this mega project owns a series of hotels, country clubs, and over 300 commercial properties in and around Kampala.
