LIRA, UGANDA: A section of leaders in the Lango sub-region including the Resident District Commissioners have endorsed the first son Lt. Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba as a successor to his father, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.

A group of youth calling themselves Muhoozi Army on Saturday launched their coordinating team for Lango sub region at a ceremony in Lira City saying this will help to mobilise support for first son Kainerugaba to be the next president of Uganda.

Speaking at the event, The National Chairman Muhoozi Army, Mr. Donald K Businge, said they came to commission the ground team who will mobilise support for Gen. Muhoozi.

Businge said they are calling themselves Muhoozi Army because they are foot soldiers moving to mobilise for Muhoozi and want him to be the next president of Uganda.
