A young man was reportedly caught and beaten after he allegedly stole a bottle of wine at a supermarket along Aka Etinan Road in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.
Local reports indicate that the incident happened on Thursday, October 13, 2022.
During interrogation, the suspect admitted to stealing the drink and said e only aimed to celebrate his birthday and make himself happy.
