FULL LIST: Baleke, Kirunda voted among Busoga’s top performers in 2022

The awards that were organized by Busoga Bloggers Association ranks the best performing personalties in the region, especially those serving in government positions, members of parliament (MPs), police commanders, town clerks and a like.

KAMPALA, UGANDA: The Deputy Resident District Commissioner of Mayuge District Mr Trevor Solomon Baleke and the Deputy Presidential Press Secretary, Mr Faruk Kirunda have been listed among the best performing personalities in Busoga region for the year 2022.

The awards that were organized by Busoga Bloggers Association ranks the best performing personalties in the region, especially those serving in government positions, members of parliament (MPs), police commanders, town clerks and a like.

Baleke, ranked as the best deputy RDC in the region, was recognized for his selfless service in the community as he has been outstanding in ironing out grudges and misunderstandings between locals in Mayuge district, especially land issues. Through his efforts, a number of families have been able to reconcile and a host of land wrangles resolved amongst themselves.

Another thing the deputy RDC was hailed for is the bursaries he has lobbied bursaries for some children from poor backgrounds in Mayuge which has boosted the education and school enrollment rate in the district.

on the other side, Faruk Kirunda was voted the best inspirational man in Busoga 2022, thanks to his commitment and restless efforts in ensuring that some youths in the Busoga sub-region.

The Bloggers association altogether commended 41 individuals in various categories for their great impact towards the development of Busoga in the year 2022. Others on the list include Kasule Lumumba, MPs Nakato Annet, Martin Muzaale, SPA Florence Mutyabule among others.
