Why charity giving and helping others?

Doing charity to others portrays an image of togetherness and encouragement to live in peace and harmony. It improves racial equality and reduces poverty among countries with vulnerable populations.

“Philanthropy is not about money but feeling the pain of others and caring enough about their needs to help” Timothy Pina, and “No one has ever become poor by giving” Anne Frank.

Helping poor and needy people is vital to strengthen the whole society. We raise the entire community as we provide support and a helping hand to those less fortunate than us, helping them lead a better life for themselves and their community later on in life.

Giving to others and supporting the cause you care about helps us get informed about issues of social injustices, therefore it is very important to think about how best we can improve the lives of others and help our communities in different ways. It does not matter the age, gender, race, or color.

Giving to others creates connections with people that we would not have met.

The charity benefits the donors as well. Charity is giving without expecting in return, but donors get intangible benefits, like feeling at peace, proud, and purposeful. Therefore these translate into a more fulfilled life. When we experience this positivity, we are more likely to give more and we make the world a better place for the vulnerable.

I, therefore, want to disagree with those who believe that helping you must be having enough money, no; it is all about feeling the pain of others and caring enough about their needs to help.
