The convoy started from Kabale golf course and passed through Kabale town. Our reporter who moved in a convey observed that many vehicles and bodabodas were made to stand for between 30 to 35 minutes.
Businesses were also seen closed and owners standing along the streets to watch the convoy.

Most of the hotel rooms in Kabale were by Wednesday afternoon booked to full capacity by hundreds of fans who travelled from Kampala and many parts of western Uganda to attend the music concert.

The concert, slated for April 19, 2023, is aimed at celebrating the restoration of bilateral ties between Uganda and Rwanda and the reopening of the common border.

Gen. Muhoozi began his visit by laying a wreath at the FRONASA Monument in Kabale Stadium.

Muhoozi is expected to visit Bwama HCIII to launch the ambulance boot that was last week supplied by the Ministry of Health.

He will also officiate a football match between Rwanda Select and Kigezi Select at Kabale municipal stadium this afternoon.
