Consumers’ Choice Awards 5th edition launched

The Awards recognizes business excellence through an independent market survey to determine brand reputation, customer satisfaction, and business excellence to determine for the quality of their service, value, integrity and professionalism.

KAMPALA, UGANDA: In a bid to keep consumers alert of quality products in the marketplace, Consumers’ Guide Magazine has launched the 5th edition of the Consumers’ Choice Awards.

The Awards recognizes business excellence through an independent market survey to determine brand reputation, customer satisfaction, and business excellence to determine for the quality of their service, value, integrity and professionalism.

According to Salim Bari, the Awards Chief Executive Officer, the Awards are a true reflection of the “marketplace as it represents the opinion of consumers and buyers across Uganda.”

“These Awards recognize the brand that consistently delivers a high level of service to its customers day in and day out. Each year, the Consumers’ Guide Magazine recognizes the best companies for their earnest efforts in business excellence and keeping the consumers’ best interests in mind. The exciting selection process and the announcement of finalists culminate in the Consumers Choice Awards dinner, a gala evening that will convene hundreds of the industry’s brightest luminaries to network, toast the winners and celebrate the best companies voted by consumers,” Bari said while announcing the Awards return at the Golf Course Hotel in Kampala.

This year’s Awards are being convened under the theme: Recognising Business Excellence.

“The Awards help consumers choose wisely for home and businesses. It helps you shop with confidence. The voting process begins today,” Bari stressed.

To the companies, Bari says that the Awards are more than just Awards.

“The Awards reflect the perception of the public about your product or service. This is more than an Award. It sets your business apart from the others,” Bari said.

Bari assured the public that “no one can buy a win in advertising, partnering or working with Consumer Guide Magazine and its various team members.”

“Financial/advertising considerations play no part in the results. Results are completely independent,” he said.

Bari advised consumers to submit names of their favorite companies in case they don’t find them nominated.

This year’s Consumer Choice Awards will be held on August 25, 2023, while voting ends on July 30, 2023.
