Renowned musician A Pass (real names Alexander Bagonza) has finally cleared the air about the dating allegations with famous radio presenter Prim Asiimwe.

Kukyala photos featuring the pair leaked on different social media platforms over the weekend throwing netizens to conclusions that the soft-spoken singer A Pass and NRG radio presenter Prim Asiimwe had held a pre-marriage ceremony.

Moments after the photos went viral, a short promo video showing followed, showing an invitation to “Asiimwe’s Okuranga Obuko,” (a marriage tradition in the Bunyoro Kingdom where the groom’s family sends a go-between to announce their intentions to the family.)

A Pass’ caption on his Instagram account even confused netizens the more when he wrote; “He who finds a good wife, finds a good thing.”

Well, some netizens who have seen this kind of movie among artistes before easily concluded that the photos were taken at a video shoot of the singer’s new music project.

And yes that was true, A Pass today (Monday) came out to clear the air and said that the circulating leaked photos were for a video shoot for his new single.

A Pass’ statement seemed to pour cold water on allegations in the public who rumoured that he had snatched the gorgeous radio presenter from his long-term fiancee, Alex Muhangi of Comedy Store.

Prim and Muhangi have a daughter by the name of Jehu Muhangi.

In July 2023 Muhangi publicly opened up about his relationship with radio presenter Prime Asiimwe.

In an interview on one of the radio stations (NRG), the comedian-turned-entrepreneur said that it is better to keep his relationship with radio presenter Prim Asiimwe out of social media.

He said that they decided to be in a private relationship which has enabled them to succeed in their different businesses without being in the spotlight.
