Two held over murder of 13-year-old boy accused of stealing money

Kyotera, (UG): Police Spokesperson SCP Fred Enanga Monday said two suspects were in police custody on charges of torture and murder of a 13-year-old juvenile in Kyotera District, South Central of Uganda.

According to Mr Enanga, the two allegedly tortured to death the juvenile identified as Jjuuko Patrick, accusing him of stealing money from Kagambo’s farm located at Kidda LC1 village Kabira sub-county in Kyotera District.

Preliminary information suggests that the suspects led by Tabatina Frank (who is currently at large), beat the victim to death after they found him at the farm, and thereafter, dragged him to Kasambya trading centre, where they further tortured him.

“The victim’s condition worsened and he was rushed to God is Able Clinic, where he died the following day, 25th September 2023, due to internal bleeding,” Mr Enanga said while during a weekly security briefing on Monday, October 02, at police headquarters in Kampala.
