Kampala, (UG): The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Senior Coordinator, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye has cautioned youths in the urban ghettos to control their sexual urge and take their lives seriously if they are live longer and reap more from the ruling NRM government.

“..you (youths) are gambling with your lives while sleeping with many people whose statuses you don’t know. HIV and AIDS don’t discriminate among people and the political party you support and if you feel that you cannot control your sexual urge, please use condoms. If you don’t have them, I will deliver them to your nearest health centres,” Ms Namyalo said.

Hajjat Namyalo, who is also the Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs was speaking to Katanga residents on Monday, October 23, 2023, at a charity event where ONC donated a contingent of food and household items to needy residents as part of a Corporate Social Responsibility drive of the NRM National Chairman’s office.

SPA Namyalo also revealed that many women have been misled into unsafe sex for financial gains which is worthless in the end noting that HIV is for life and no amount of money can cure it, and urged them to avoid using their bodies in exchange for quick money.

“You might want quick money to solve your problems but be reminded that you might get that UGX l0,000 in a few minutes but your life will never be the same when you are infected with HIV” she cautioned.

“We have been hearing that you were worked on by your leaders that they formed structures. Now that I have learnt that, am going to follow it up and see how you can also benefit from your government because the president is aware that you are his loyal bazzukulu, he wishes to see you economically empowered,” Ms Namyalo said.

The Office of the National Chairman had joined hands with Vision Group (a government-owned publisher), Royal Milk, and i-Dental Care to extend relief support to ghetto residents in Katanga with a contingent of food and household items to help uplift their living standards.

The items donated by ONC on Monday included; sugar, maize flour, blankets, beans, rice, and soap among others, while Vision Group donated items including clothes, and pads, among others as one of the charity drive activities to celebrate the publisher’s 15-year anniversary.
