Kampala, (UG): The Minister of Education and Sports, First Lady Janet Museveni on Thursday, November 02, release the examination results for the Uganda Business and Technical Examinations – UBTEB, for the period of July-August 2023.
The UBTEB Board announced that the results will be released at 10 am Thursday at the President’s Office Conference Hall in Kampala.
The results are for the set of examinations which commenced on Monday, 7, 2023 until 24th August 2023 with a total of 64,387 candidates sitting them at 517 examination centres.
Mr Onesmus Oyesigye, the Board Secretary of UBTEB revealed that of these candidates, 19,298 were females.
According to Mr Oyesigye, Technical programs (UCPC, Certificate and Diploma) had the highest number of candidates – 602,280. Out of these, 16,720 are females, according to the Board.
Business programs had a total of 3,146, the biggest number (2,159) being females, Departmental programs had 778 candidates, 308 being females whereas modularized certificates (Centres of Excellence-Technical) sat 183 students, 111 of them being females.
