Kampala, (UG): Next Media Monday announced a groundbreaking partnership with StarTimes, the official broadcaster of TOTAL Energies AFCON 2023 to show the Nations Cup matches on Sanyuka Prime and NBS Sport giving a sigh of relief to Ugandans anxiously waiting for the tournament kickoff.
According to the partnership, Sanyuka Prime which is only accessible on StarTimes recorders is set to air all 52 matches of the tournament which kicks off on Friday, Jan 13 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast while NBS Sport which is available on Dstv (Channel 377) and Zuku (Channel 54) will showcase select matches on each matchday of the AFCON 2023 Edition.
Sanyupa Prime Brand Manager Mr Ngobi Nicholas says all broadcast matches will feature vibrant Luganda commentary, engaging match analyses, and daily highlights from the top sporting commentators and analysts in the country.
“Sanyuka Prime is the place to be this season, offering fans not just matches but an unforgettable journey from kick-off to the final whistle,” Mr Ngobi says.
Additionally, he urged the fans to expect a riveting experience with the chance to win exciting prizes right from the opening ceremony to the finals throughout the tournament.
Through this riveting partnership, fans especially those on Dstv recorders can expect a catchup of the theAFCON matches as it comes at a time when MutliChoice Africa announced last Wednesday that it won’t be showing the Nations Cup for the first after failing to secure broadcast rights from CAF.
