Kampala, (UG): Hundreds of President Museveni’s Bazzukulu in Iganga District were Saturday overjoyed with excitement after the Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC) headed by Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo handed to them an assortment of empowerment tools in a move to improve on their household incomes.

During the event held at Nabitende playground in Nabitende Sub County, Iganga District, Namyalo, profoundly referred to as Chief Muzzukulu reiterated ONC’s mission of ensuring that Museveni’s Bazzukulu become self-reliant to enter into the money economy Jajja preaches about.

“…we have brought for you a couple of goodies which we hope if used genuinely can help end poverty in your homes. Museveni wants to see his bazzukulu living a better life. I caution you, don’t dare sell or misuse any equipment, if we learn about that, jail will be your new home,” said Namyalo before handing over the tools to beneficiaries.

The distributed tools on the afternoon included; hoes, sprayers, saloon equipment, dryers, popcorn-making machines, and sewing machines, among others, with Nabitende Development Association taking the fair share of the empowerment on its official launch after Hajjat Namyalo handed them a cash booster of one million shillings.

Meanwhile, Namyalo also gave out hundreds of kilograms of maize flour to go feed the young bazzukulu they left at home and promised that she will soon come back with welding machines and car washing machines.

Hajjat scoff at selfish politicians

The ONC boss however cautioned the the selfish politicians speaking ill against the ruling government saying they are just blind because Jajja (Museveni) has proved that he still holds a bright future for Ugandans, a reason he was entrusted with global Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) chairmanship.

The leaders in Iganga District and Municipality who welcomed Namyalo at the event vowed to work with her office to ensure that HE YK Museveni stays in State House effectively serving his bazzukulu.

Thank you for being a proud muzzukulu who is working tirelessly to see Museveni back on the ballot. In fact, we lacked this kind of energy that you came with and now that we have you, I swear Museveni will win 2026 with 99%,” Hajj Walubi added.

“Y’all saw our Jajja how physically fit he is. Do you remember those clips he recorded for us during COVID days? So he wants you to live longer like him. Therefore avoid those reckless habits that can easily take your lives,” Namyalo tipped the youths.

Accompanied by the national coordinator in charge of games and sports, Mr Seth Murari, Namyalo then handed over footballs and jerseys to various teams taking part in the one-week tournament.
