In a thrilling finale of the Bazzukulu Liberation Cup, Katende FC emerged winners in the women’s category while Mukalu FC won the men’s competition, and each team was awarded a fat bull and a juicy parcel.

While speaking to the thousands of Jajja Museveni’s Bazzukulu at the closure of the tournament, Hajjat Namyalo urged youths to stop using drugs and instead focus on developing their families through engaging in self-employment activities.

“My fellow bazzukulu kindly take this message in good faith, I know you pass through a lot that may force you to use drugs to curb stress but please this is not a solution, let’s change our mindset and put our focus on working to develop ourselves and our families,” Namyalo said amid crazy ululations from the bazzukulu at Kakindu stadium.

Before the finals, Hajjat Namyalo first appeared on Baba FM, Busoga Sub-region’s biggest radio station where she preached social-economic transformation urging youth to use the peace brought by President Museveni to work hard and elevate their families from the deadly poverty that has rocked the region for years.

Namyalo also didn’t spare the political mafias in government who fail government programs saying wanainchi should expose such ‘parasites’ so that the appointing authority can deal with them harshly.

“You all know our Jajja has no space for ‘parasites’ failing our programs. I hear some of you didn’t get PDM funds and Emyooga benefited just a few, where did that money go? These are questions your leaders should answer!” Namyalo told listeners in the afternoon.
