Rapper The Mith headlines Breathtaking Uganda’s Lake Mburo Valentine’s Experience

It is raining ‘Love in the Wilderness’ this love month of February as leading domestic Tourism enthusiasts and travel agencies team up with key stakeholders in the tourism sector to bring Ugandans the first-of-a-kind Valentine’s weekend in Lake Mburo National Park a sprawling natural attraction located in Mbarara from the 15th to the 18th of February.

In partnership with Uganda Wildlife Authority, Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities, Miss Uganda Foundation, Miss Tourism Uganda, Travelneza, Iter Holidays and Platinum Tours, Breathtaking Uganda will take you on a 3 days and 3 nights rendezvous of love in the beautiful Western District of Mbarara.

The trip will combine a love-in-the-wild experience in Lake Mburo National Park with a grand after-party on the final day in the heart of Mbarara to create a memorable Love fun-filled weekend this Valentine’s.

“With packages ranging from 500,000 Ugx to 3.5 million per person covering meals, accommodation, park entry fees, photography, boat cruise, a game drive, nature walks and other entertainment activities, everyone who wants to enjoy a different Love Experience with their partner or good friends has been catered for,” says Breathtaking Uganda CEO Isaiah Rwanyekiro.

Rwanyekiro adds that accommodation is planned at Emburura Farm Lodge, Kigarama Wildernesses Lodge, Leopard Rest Camp, Mpogo Safari Lodge, Ishaazi Farm Lodge and UWA Banda’s plus campsite inside Lake Mburo National Park with the VVIPs, VIPs, Regular and Budget categories all catered for.

Bookings can be done through Travelneza, Iter Holidays, Platinum Tours and Breathtaking Uganda for this grand Valentine’s adventure that will start with a meet and greet dinner at Jikoni Restaurant on Clement Hill Road in Kampala, come the 14th of February.

The Itinerary in full

Early morning on the 15th of February all fully paid-up lovers and adventurers will assemble at CJs Lugogo Mall for a briefing, breakfast and flag-off by the State Minister for Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities Hon. Martin Bahinduka. The entourage will then set off for Lake Mburo National Park with three stopovers at Gators Café Buwama for a health break, at the Equator for the picture moments and in Masaka for a late afternoon lunch.

The entourage with then check into Lake Mburo National Park vier Sanga late evening with welcome cocktails, dinner and light entertainment before taking a rest to prepare for a fun-filled itinerary starting the following day.

VVIP guests who will stay at Emburura Farm Lodge which is a 15-minute drive away from the park will head straight there and have their own surprise welcome joining the rest the next morning to kick off a myriad of fun-filled loved-up park activities.

The next two days will be spent exploring Lake Mburo National Park in depth with nature walks, park drives, scenic viewing atop Kazuma lookout hill, memorable photoshoots and video moments captured by Tonny Drone shots and Absolut Photography, a boat cruise various exquisite meals in the park by world record holder Chef Mama D, silent disco, karaoke over campfire to mention but a few.

An in-depth fun-filled love talk over campfire and dinner will also be conducted by celebrated Newvision Columnist Hillary Bainemigisha known to many as Dr. Love.

Performances from some big-time local artists including So Ug Rapper Da-Mith, Viboyo, Laika Music, Producer Magic Washington and Comedian Salvador Idringi will also be on the lineup to spice up this ‘Love in the Wilderness.’ All this happening as lovers and adventurers enjoy the company of beauty Queens including Miss Uganda Hanna Karema, Miss Rwanda Nshuti Muheto Divine, and Miss Tourism Uganda among other special guests.

The final evening and night of the tour will be an epic one with the party moving to higher heights at Acacia Country Inn Mbarara City where all those accommodated in the park will check in on the evening of the 17th and will be joined by the group from Emburura which will do a to and fro journey given it’s proximity to join a crazy party led by Almost famous Djs on the turn tables, artistes performances and Karoeoke sessions among the guests to crown off an epic experience with the entire entourage departing for Kampala on Sunday morning the 18th of February together after a heavy breakfast and debriefing from the Chief organiser Isaiah Jobs Rwanyekiro CEO Breathtaking Uganda.
