Kagadi, (UG):- The Head of Office of the NRM National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye has implored President Museveni’s Bazzukulu in Kagadi District to shun away from laziness and embark on exploiting their potential if they are to fight against poverty.

Namyalo, who also doubles as the Senior Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs urged the youthful Bazzukulu to utilize the various poverty alleviation programs from the government such as Emyooga and Parish Development Model (PDM) noting that the government has provided all the peace required for all to prosper.

“I am happy that Owobusobozi is among the key people who have stood with the NRM government for the last couple of decades. I think the secret behind his support to us is the peace and freedom this government brought. So kindly let’s all pick a leaf from him and continue supporting this government as you work. Let us awaken from our slumber and actively pursue wealth creation,” Namyalo said while addressing thousands of Bazzukulu on Thursday at Bisaka International Stadium during the 44th-anniversary of the Owobusobozi Bisaka’s Faith of Unity.

“No one can bring food to your table but you,” She added as she emphasized the NRM government’s role in fostering an environment conducive to prosperity.

Ms Namyalo urged the Bazzukulu all over the country to seize the opportunities presented by the prevailing peace and stability under the leadership of HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and advocated for unity, transcending religious divisions for the collective betterment of society.

“Here they have been preaching about unity, let’s forget those things of I won’t work with my neighbour because he is in this and that religion. You can’t develop with such a mindset,” she declared, urging citizens to work hand in hand irrespective of religious affiliations.
