Manchester, United Kingdom:- Manchester United Sunday edged Liverpool’s quest for a quadruple of trophies in Jurgen Klopp’s final season after Amad Diallo’s winner edged a thrilling FA Cup quarter-final 4-3 after extra-time.
United had to come from behind twice as a rare goal from Antony levelled at 2-2 to send the game into an extra half an hour before Marcus Rashford and Diallo turned the tie around in the final 10 minutes of extra time to cancel out what would have been a winner from Harvey Elliott.
Celebrating his first goal of the season, Amad took off his shirt in the celebrations and was promptly shown a second yellow card which now rules him out of the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley against Championship side Coventry City.
In the other FA Cup Semis, Manchester City face Chelsea with the games to be played on the weekend of April 20/21, 20224 at Wembley in a one-leg tie.
