NRM Youths paint Dokolo yellow as Museveni rallies voters to vote for Adongo as new Woman MP

Dokolo, (UG):- The Yellow Youth Movement (YYM) a youth wing of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) on Tuesday welcomed the party’s National Chairman, H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to Dokolo District at the final campaign for Mrs Janet Adongo Rose Elau, the party’s flag bearer in the Woman MP By-election.

The Yellow Youths, led by National Coordinator, Mr Jacob Eyeru alongside NRM party officials welcomed President Museveni on the afternoon at Atabu Primary School grounds in Bata Sub County, Dokolo District, where he addressed NRM supporters.

At the venue, H.E. Museveni is expected to rally voters in Dokolo to support Mrs Adongo Rose Alau, the NRM flagbearer ahead of the polling day set for Thursday, March 21, 2024.

Additionally, the President is also expected to highlight key achievements the party has registered as well as other development programmes that the NRM government intends to implement in the district as a testament to its (government) dedication to serving the people of Dokolo.

The election for the new Dokolo Woman Member of Parliament is slated for this Thursday, March 21st, 2024 after the seat fell vacant with the death of Cecilia Barbara Atim Ogwal on January 18.
