SPA Namyalo donates Ramadan packages to Muslim students, pays homage to Nabisunsa Girls

Kampala, (UG): The office of the National Chairman-NRM in Kyambogo, SPA Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye yesterday met and donated a contingent of Ramadan packages to Muslim students from different institutions of higher learning as a gesture of the office’s Corporate Social Responsibility drive in Kampala.

Flanked by the UAE Ambassador to Uganda HE Abdalla Hassan, Hajjat Namyalo often referred to as the Chief Muzzukulu reminded the students that as young people (Bazzukulu) they are the pillars of the Islamic faith and that the bridge between the Muslims and government is incumbent upon the behaviour of especially the young Muslims.

She also reminded the students that HE President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa will be on the ballot in 2026.

At the giveaway event, over 1000 Students each received a Ramadan package from Hajjat Namyalo courtesy of the UAE Embassy in Uganda to help them through the remaining days of Ramadan.

On his part, H.E Abdallah Hassan thanked the Muslim students for observing the holy month of Ramadan and advised them to always have Allah at the forefront of all their endeavours. He promised to continue working with the office of the National Chairman to empower Bazzukulu in different ways including extending scholarships.

The Ambassador also appreciated President Museveni for permitting good relations with countries in the Middle East which has seen over 200,000 Ugandans fully employed in the United Arab Emirates alone.

In a related development, Hajjati Namyalo Hadijah later in the day together with Dr Nakimuli Maria, the Administrator at the Office of the National Chairman visited their former School Nabisunsa Girls where they donated food items to help the students observing the holy month of Ramadan.

The two were received by the deputy head teacher Hajjati Mastula Nambajjwe Serugo who thanked Namyalo for remembering her roots and encouraged other old students to do the same.

Hajjat Namyalo interacted with the students reminiscing on the old times while she studied here, she shared light moments with the students including singing the school’s anthem together.

She also donated various food packages to the school as a gesture of support towards the current students and administration for the great work they are doing in nurturing the Bazzukulu.
