Interview dates set for recruitment of police constables in Busoga North

Busoga, (UG):- Busoga North Regional Police have set dates for interviews of probationer police constables who applied to join the Uganda police in March.

The Uganda Police Force had initially scheduled interviews for shortlisted applicants for the position of Probationer Police Constables to take place from April 8th to April 14th, 2024.

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the interviews were postponed and now the Uganda police have communicated that shall conduct interviews for shortlisted individuals who applied to join the force as probationer police constables from 6th May 2024.

Kasadha Michael, the Spokesperson of Busoga North police told DailyExpress on Thursday that the new dates have been confirmed at the police headquarters in Naguru and applicants are therefore advised to confirm their names ahead of the exercise.

“…applicants are urged to confirm their names from all district police headquarters where they submitted their applications,” Mr Kasadha said.

The dates and recruitment venues/centres are listed below:-

Kamuli district on 7th May 2024 at Youth Centre.
Luuka District on 07th May 2024 at Kitwekyambogo Primary School.
Buyende district on 08th May 2024 at Buyende district headquarters. 
And Kaliro district on 9th May 2024 at Kaliro National Teacher’s College.

Mr Kasadha also asked the applicants to keep time saying; “All applicants must report to the venues/recruitment centres by O8:00am with original copies of their National Identity cards and academic documents”.

“Applicants should be ready to undergo physical fitness tests, medical examinations, and written and oral interviews. Only shortlisted applicants are expected at the recruitment centres/venues.” he added.
