Hamilton launches first-ever Mobile Virtual Network Enabler; A game changer in Uganda’s telecom sector

Kampala, (UG):- Hamilton Telecom; a dynamic and innovative provider of mobile telecommunications solutions has launched the first-ever Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE) in Uganda and the broader East African Region in a move aimed at revolutionizing the country’s telecom sector.

The MVNE solution, a highly scalable multi-tenant service delivery platform gives MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) the ability to launch new offerings either in the cloud or on-premise, thanks to its cutting-edge next-generation cloud technology compatible with traditional telecom environments.

The exciting development of the MVNE launch was unveiled by the Senior Presidential Advisor on Diaspora Affairs, Ambassador Abbey Walusimbi during a meeting with Hamilton Telecom officials led by John Mukalazi Kamya the Board Chairman last week at Office of the President in Kampala.

“I am thrilled to announce the launch of a groundbreaking initiative: the introduction of the inaugural Mobile Virtual Network Enabler (MVNE) in Uganda and the broader East African Region,” Hajj Walusimbi told this website, adding that this initiative is set to transform the telecom landscape by empowering enterprises and communities to establish their own mobile brands.”

“What’s even more remarkable is that this can be achieved without the need for extensive infrastructure or initial capital investment, significantly reducing barriers to entry in the market,” he added.
