Centenary Bank pledges support to Inzu Ya Masaaba ahead of Imbalu ceremony

Mbale, (UG):- The management of Centenary Bank has pledged to support Inzu ya Masaaba leadership in a number of projects the Inzu ya Masaaba leaders have embarked on.

This was revealed by Madam Annet Nandelenga the manager of Centenary Bank Mbale branch when she and her team paid a courtesy visit to Umukuka III, His Royal Highness Jude Mike mudoma at the Inzu Yamasaaba cultural offices in Maluku, Mbale city.

The spokesperson inzu ya Masaaba Mr Masiga Steven confirmed to this Publication the pledge made by Centenary Bank to work closely with the cultural institution of bamasaba.

The meeting was also attended to by the Chiefdom Prime Minister Rt  Hon Charles Walimbwa Peke, his deputy Mr Wwamimbi Damiano and the Cultural Diversity Minister, Hon Wedaira Nelson among others.

The Centenary Bank team was led by Mr Geoffrey from Mapera House, other members were legal officer Ms Ashaba, regional Branch manager Eastern Ms Ojiambo and Ms Annet Nandelenga the Mbale branch manager and Mr O’Mara Martin among others.

The umukuka pledged to mobilize bamasaba to involve themselves in a number of programs under the initiative of Centenary Bank. He promised to link the rural bank to the Kenyan economy since he is the umukuka for both Kenya and Uganda.

Mr Masiga said the Inzuyamasaba leadership treasures initiatives such as this proposed by Centenary Bank and said other banks should tap into the huge population in Bamasaabaland who number over 20m persons in both Kenya and Uganda 

The Centenary Bank team also donated some items to the Inzuyamasaba.
