Skilling can change Uganda’s economy, says Greater Mukono ONC Coordinator

Mukono, (UG):- The Office of the National Chairman (ONC) Coordinator for Greater Mukono Subregion, Ms Julia Nassuna Kalule has emphasized that skilling youths can drastically change Uganda’s economy for the good if implemented appropriately.

Ms Nassuna said this in his speech during the graduation at Nakawa Institute of Commercial Studies where over 100 students graduated with practical hands-on skills at a Skilling school based in Nabuta Village, Goma Division in Mukono Municipality.

Ms Nassuna, who was the guest of honour, praised the school directors for being so focused, and what they are doing is in line with the NRM manifesto.

She promised to introduce the institute administration to Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye, the Office of the National Chairman Manager and Senior Presidential Assistant on Political Affairs.

The school Principal, Mr. Barasa Godfrey, requested government bodies for financial and material support so that many of our young brothers and sisters may acquire knowledge that can help them fit into society.

The graduation function was also attended by the ONC Mukono District coordinator, Mr Lukyamuzi Davies, who encouraged the parents never to castigate their children who fail to complete school but to find ways how they can acquire skills.
