Namuganza cuts off husband’s genitals accusing him of cheating

Kamuli, (UG):- Police in Kamuli District are hunting for a 34-year-old woman identified as Suzan Namuganza for allegedly attempting to murder her husband by cutting off his genitals and robbing him of cash.

The victim has been identified as Kawubanya Moses 45, the Director, of Serena Children’s Home and a resident of Busana zone, Nabirumba ward, Nabwigulu subcounty in Kamuli district. 

Initial findings indicate that on Monday morning, June 10th at around 03 am, Kawubanya Moses woke up to bathe after which he resumed his bed with a towel wrapped around his waist.

“When their three months old baby started crying, Namuganza, his wife woke up as though she was getting milk for the baby but unfortunately, on coming back, Namuganza fell on the victim and cut off her husband’s penis and fled with an unknown amount of money,” police said in a statement on Monday morning.

“The victim also ran to the neighbourhood which helped him and brought him to Kamuli General Hospital for medical attention before making a report at CPS kamuli,” the statement added.

Further findings have established that Kawubanya had allegedly gotten another wife which stimulated Namuganza to revenge on him for cheating.

By press time, the victim was still under medical care at Kamuli General Hospital and unable to speak to this publication due to the much pain he was going through.

Busoga North Police Spokesperson Afande Kasadha Michael told DailyExpress that “police is still making more enquiries to establish circumstances surrounding the whole matter.”
