MP Jennifer Muheesi partners with Chinese Firm to extend safe water to Kazo constituents

Kazo District residents are set to benefit from a crucial water project spearheaded by Hon. Jennifer Muheesi, in partnership with the Chinese company Yeshua Living Water.

The project, led by Pastor Zu, aims to provide clean and safe water to Kazo II, Mbogo, and Kagarama Parishes, with the first equipment already in Kazo.

Hon. Muheesi highlighted that work will commence on three sites this week, ensuring better access to water for the community. This lobby by the MP extends to three sites including Kazo II, Mbogo and Kagarama and will be worked on for the first phase and others later.

Residents have expressed deep appreciation for her tireless efforts, with one saying, “We are thankful to Hon. Jennifer Muheesi for ensuring clean and safe water for Kazo residents.”

Besides water, she has been pivotal in distributing coffee seedlings to local farmers, helping to boost agricultural productivity and provide a sustainable source of income for households. This initiative forms part of Muheesi’s broader agenda to alleviate poverty in Kazo District.

Her efforts complement national programs like the Parish Development Model (PDM) and NAADS, where she regularly monitors progress to ensure they benefit the people of Kazo.

Speaking about the water project, Hon. Muheesi said, “We are thankful to our Chinese partners for their generosity. Almighty God has the final word in our mission to serve Kazo.”

The water project aligns with her focus on improving essential services like agriculture, infrastructure, and financial support programs, reflecting her commitment to lifting Kazo’s residents out of poverty and providing them with a brighter future.

The partnership with Yeshua Living Water is expected to transform lives by addressing water scarcity in Kazo, contributing to health improvements and agricultural development in the district.

Residents remain hopeful for further projects under Muheesi’s leadership as they look forward to long-term community benefits.
